Fishermen
Posted on March 23rd, 2009 4 commentsOn the second day of our excursion we went to the countryside and saw how fishers are living, po verty, their old big house boats…
As a contrast we visited a VIP club for angling. This lake had more fish than water inside…
At the end of our trip IÂ bought our new domestic animals Glupschi, Hansi, Uschi and Unknown. Others played the de ath angels in a ki lling roul ette game.

Excursion to YangZhong County’s township enterprises
Posted on March 22nd, 2009 3 commentsThe email with the inviation to the excursions contained the following:
Themes of this excursion are:
- “The Successful Case Study of Chinese township enterprisesâ€
- “The case Study of Chinese Township enterprises in the current financial Crisisâ€
Students are supposed to take group report assignments in this visit, and the final reports would be submitted to Shanghai Daily which would be prospective news reported on Shanghai Daily.
Do we get used to pro mote Chinese pro pagan da? Should we write about the greatest economical system on earth – from the “independent” view of an international student (who needs a good grading from his Chinese professor to complete the Chinese university program)?

Guangzhou Underground – Well organized
Posted on March 9th, 2009 3 commentsIn Shanghai everybody tries to get the best seat, more specifically – any seat. People never heard of our western mentality – “zerscht austeign lossn!”
In Guangzhou the local authorities decided to end this rushing and to keep the stations clean. Spitting or pissing gets punished with about 5 EUR, several signs help you to learn etiquette, some of them should already be unnecessary and obsolete…
Most interesting signs are attached to this entry.
