Guangzhou Underground – Well organized
Posted on March 9th, 2009 3 commentsIn Shanghai everybody tries to get the best seat, more specifically – any seat. People never heard of our western mentality – “zerscht austeign lossn!”
In Guangzhou the local authorities decided to end this rushing and to keep the stations clean. Spitting or pissing gets punished with about 5 EUR, several signs help you to learn etiquette, some of them should already be unnecessary and obsolete…

First trip difficulties
Posted on March 4th, 2009 2 commentsToday I am starting my first trip inside the country… about 1.400 kilometers with the train, from me to the other city are about 22 hours of traveling (at the beginning I was told 14-15)… but it’s not too easy to buy a correct train ticket or even travel around in China, also not easy with the help of Chinese speaking people…
