    Michi and I travelled to Beijing, she did research while I met the others and did the “out-of-Shanghai”-activities of our exchange program Media and Communication Management. After that we had a lot of excursions, interesting guest lectures and reports from guys already working in our field of study…

  • Fishermen

    Fishing / house boatsOn the second day of our excursion we went to the countryside and saw how fishers are living, po verty, their old big house boats…

    As a contrast we visited a VIP club for angling. This lake had more fish than water inside…

    At the end of our trip I  bought our new domestic animals Glupschi, Hansi, Uschi and Unknown. Others played the de ath angels in a ki lling roul ette game.

  • Excursion to YangZhong County’s township enterprises

    The email with the inviation to the excursions contained the following:

    Themes of this excursion are:

    • “The Successful Case Study of Chinese township enterprises”
    • “The case Study of Chinese Township enterprises in the current financial Crisis”

    Students are supposed to take group report assignments in this visit, and the final reports would be submitted to Shanghai Daily which would be prospective news reported on Shanghai Daily.

    After one week of making our flat usable, install internet, getting to know some parts of Shanghai, its nightlife, coming along with some strange behaviors (at least for most of us western people) – i will write about them soon – our heating, the bad isolation and the very cold and windy weather I got ill and I am fixed to my bed with fever now. But – now I have time to create a blog…
