Taxi, Bus, Trishaw, Walk, Ferry, Walk, Taxi-Sharing, Speedboat, Walk to reach Putuo Shan, Temple Island
Posted on June 8th, 2009 1 commentand – voila… it’s that easy to go to Temple Island Putuo Shan from our last stop – the town Ningbo just 50 kilometers away… 🙂
But, Putuo Shan was worth everything… It locates one of the four holy mountains in China (300 metres high). The complete island (12 km²) is full just with untouched nature, temple buildings and walkways between: More than 100 monasteries and shrines are located here.
I joined the Buddhist morning pray in the main temple and enjoyed the untouched nature on that beautiful island…

Busy university time
Posted on June 8th, 2009 No commentsMichi and I travelled to Beijing, she did research while I met the others and did the “out-of-Shanghai”-activities of our exchange program Media and Communication Management. After that we had a lot of excursions, interesting guest lectures and reports from guys already working in our field of study…

Yeaah, blog is alife again!
Posted on June 8th, 2009 No commentsUnluckily I had very less time the last 2 months, cause of Michis research visit (I accompanied her to Beijing) combined with an intense sightseeing plan; and afterwards lots of stuff to do for university, mini expo etc… I will write about that in later posts when I have more time… 😉 … maybe…
Problem is that at the moment semester is coming to an end and every professor needs final presentations, papers, etc. So we are really busy to finish all courses, but I try to find time to write about the past weeks…
Cu sooooon!
DavidPS: Michi intended to write a guest article if she finds time… hoping for it!
