Peru is very diverse: The capitol Lima (with it’s evergrey sky), the beautiful sanddunes in Huacachina, mystical Nasca-Lines or busy Cusco as starting point for expeditions.

Huacachina is an oasis within the Atacama desert. We had great fun to explore the desert with buggies and sandboards. Check out the video about our crazy time there:

We chartered a Chesna to see the gigantic Nasca-Lines in the desert: Up to 200 meters wide are the figures which are engraved or deepened. So it is just possible to see them from the air – and not from the ground.

Cusco has a lovely old town. But it is much more interesting to get out of the city, explore the outer districts and don’t see any tourist for a whole day. After climbing the surrounding hills – you get spectacular views over the city.

In our next post we’ll write about our fife-day Salkantay-trek and finally the visit to Machu Picchu… Stay updated!
