Vietnam has a huge coastline. After we spent time with the tribes in the North we continued to the South along the coastline. Starting in Hanoi we explored the ancient city Hue: The citadel reminds of the Forbidden City in Beijing. Around HCMC we explored some parts of the 200 kilometer long tunnel network in Cu Chi where the Vietcong hid themselves from the Americans during Vietnam War. It was a great experience to crawl in these small, sometimes just half a meter high, tunnels. So we got to know how hard it must have been to survive (and fight) Â in Vietnam’s moisty and sweaty heat, also below the earth…
