We got lost in the outback around the Secret Lake and salt fields: farmers could not really help due to language difficulties, and our compass-app did not work – unfortunately – so we had to continue to smaller and smaller tracks to find a way back to the Green House guest house. Supreme highlights were the well-hidden mysterious White Elephant Caves – head lamps and fearlessness regarding bats and other cave dwellers were a premise! We also drove around the Bokor hills: That had formerly been a huge national park, but now are a privatized mega construction project for a new city in the mountains – including highways, golf courses, casinos as well as luxury hotels.
